Tips for a quick round
The thief always moves toward an exit, so think about where he wants to go rather than where he is. Closing the right gate with a switch is often worth more than chasing him directly. Waiting a turn is a real move: sometimes standing still forces the thief into a dead end. Use the overview button at the start of each night to see every exit before you take a step.

Click or tap a neighboring hex to move. Tap the guard to wait (Space on desktop). Step on switches to open or close gates. Drag to look around the board.
